Bread maker Jam?

My wonderfully old bread maker does just that - it makes jam!  In just over an hour , not just any jam, yummy strawberry jam!  I think once you have had home made jam you will never look at shop brought jam the same way again.

I am excited as our Kindred Heart Stitching group meets tomorrow for our first meeting of 2012.  We have to take along something that we have re purposed- it should be fun!  Have a great day, Michelle.

  2. I have never tried to make jam in the bread maker. I did it once the old fashioned way and we bent our spoons trying to get the jam out of the jar!! I have never made it again.....someone told me I had cooked it too long....the jam that is! Maybe I should have taken those cooking lessons my Mum tried to teach me, but all I wanted to do was ride my horse!
Cute new header, I love the old sewing machine.
