Ooooooh babies...........................

Like all babies 'aren't they gorgeous while they are sleeping?'  You would not believe the noise when these seven need a fed!  I thought I would show you some of my babies taken up some of my craft time!

Our last of our old pet sheep.  This old girl is 9 and stills gives us twins every year!

It was been a sad year for pets, especially with our sheep, Alley and Fiona at the rite old age of `14 and 13 died and then Rex who has featured many times on my blog also died he was 10.  So we are starting again with Mumble, Lemon and AB-well so far this season anyway!

KHS

KHS met at Claire's this month and the theme was jewelry, I did not finish my project - no excuses I was just not organised!!  But lucky Michelle and Claire finished theirs - well, more finished than mine!  Nicky couldn't make it due to work commitments. We did miss her, especially since this is right up her alley!   And if my memory serves me right this was her choice!
Above is the lovely table setting for lunch, Claire always does this so well!

The above projects are Michelle's, they really are as gorgeous as they look!
Claire hung her necklace she made on her doily manikin, it is very funky!  Click and enlarge the photo for more detail.  Well done girls, I think we had show and tell but I only took a photo of Nancy's quilt she was finishing, she only had to put the buttons on for there eyes.
It, as usual was a great day with fabulous food and instead of just talking which there was a fair bit of I actually got some stitching done!  Next month the theme is wool and it is my turn to host! Pressure is now on to finish unpacking at least one room!!
Enjoy your weekend and I hope the weather is warmer than here!

I have a NEW LOVE - chalk paint

Last week I started to unpack the spare room when I rediscovered these gorgeous old draws and cupboards.  I brought these about a year ago and as I am sick of unpacking this was a great distraction!!-(well I thought so !!)

So after I finished the draws above I went on a chalk paint frenzy!

Can't really see on the finished photo but the plates are now chalk paint white.

Wasn't sure it would stick to the jug and bowl but it worked!

My final projects for the week, where these stools, the smaller one is actually coloured duck egg, just like the jug and wash bowl.  I love this paint for so many reasons but the main one is no prep work, just paint, sand and wax!
There are two more projects on the list but won't be for a week or two!  Enjoy the rest of your week, Michelle.

The last school ball

It was the last school ball for this house hold on the weekend!  The weather was just horrid!  Cody's partner Mhirron came all the way from Gisborne for the weekend.  It was a great weekend, a little sad thou as it is the last, these kids look so grown up and I love looking at the dresses, most outrageous colour for me this year was a lime yellow!!  Gross colour but she pulled it off.
Hope you are having a great week,
Michelle.
