SSCS

So this my main present from Cheryl in Chookys SSCS!!  Is it not gorgeous!!  And the stitching is so tiny!! I am feeling so spoilt!! Thanks again Cheryl I really do love it!!!
So this what I sent to Kris my SSCS partner, she loves it and sent me a photo of it on her spare bed, which is the room I made it for! (I read on her blog she wanted to make pillows for her spare bed!!)
Hope you don't mind Kris, have borrowed your photo!!
Well I hope everyone is enjoying the 27th December, it is so hot in the Naki, 29 degrees!  I have this year that Christmas crept up on so fast and was over just as fast???
Have a great day,
Michelle.

It is really the oldest you have to watch!!

This is what Claire made for me, but the star fell off the top!
Husbands in the kitchen getting pud ready!!
The five of us with our pressies!!
So hard to get a good photo!!  Too many clowns!!
Claire now has a new nick-name: The karate ho.........ho ho!

The kids eating dessert.
Whose is that child with a chocolate eclair hanging out of her mouth????
On Saturday we had our KHS Christmas pot luck tea at my house!  This year the husbands and children came.  It was so much fun and as usual we had so many laughs, mainly at each others expense, well mainly at Claire's really!!  Our Christmas theme for pressies this year was calico. (Above photos )  It has been another great year girls, wonder what 2016 will bring!!!  Can't believe it is only four days till Christmas!!!!  eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek I still have pressies to shop for and make!!! I think it is going to be a busy few days and who wants to head to town at this time of year!!!!!

Started this at Christmas time last year, thinking I could whip this up in no time!!!!! Well once I realised it was going to take time, it got put a side till June and in June, I finished stitching it but needed a frame which I did not have and needed to hunt for.  I found this gem of a frame in Hospice and with a quick paint of chalk paint, a wee bit of distressing this is the finished product!!  I am stoked with it and knew exactly where it was going!!
The other finish for me this week was a table runner/mat that I started a wee while ago also, just loved the black in the Christmas fabric!
It now has a new home also...........................................................................................
Well I guess I better get back to the cleaning and hopefully some gardening, it amazes me how in just two weeks the weeds have gone MAD!!!!!!
