Flying thru the year!!

Hello again, I can't believe how time has flown!!  It is the 2nd of March already!!!  So much has been happening but sadly not a lot of crafting!  Last night I finished my magazine stand which I brought with a Christmas voucher-thanks Mum and Dad, but didn't like the yellow wood. But with some black chalk paint, a little wax and some tea dyed doily's, it now has a place to call home.  I am so happy with the finish!

On Saturday I am meeting with the KHS, which will be our first meeting since Christmas!! ( I believe Claire has been crafting up a storm, so will get photos! and Nick has finished a quilt!!!) I am so excited, I have missed the inspiration of the girls! I am in need of that at the moment!!
Gardens have been filling in most of my time as well as a new part time job of a personal care giver.

Stock work of course!!

Lots of hay, on the dairy farm I milk on.

And shocking weather here in February, made a hell of a mess!
I had fallen tree's and they make such a mess!
And the water, my poor spouting couldn't keep up!!

And now the garden's are starting to look messy again!  So now is clean up time!  I do love my gardens from October to the end of January, but now they are just work!!
Well it was great to quickly catch up, hopefully I more blog more regularly now.
Take care,
Michelle.

  3. Hi Michelle, LoVe your new header, its gorgeous. As is that magazine rack you have made over. I love the black AND of course, the doilies. My garden is messy now too, everything has gone to seed after the long hot summer. Not a pleasant sight & I need to give it some attention. Hope you have a lovely meet-up on Saturday, remember to take photos for us all to drool over :-)
