My wonderfully old bread maker does just that - it makes jam! In just over an hour , not just any jam, yummy strawberry jam! I think once you have had home made jam you will never look at shop brought jam the same way again.
I am excited as our Kindred Heart Stitching group meets tomorrow for our first meeting of 2012. We have to take along something that we have re purposed- it should be fun! Have a great day, Michelle.

He he I am having a last minute panic! I have two projects done... only just now finished one... but want to do another another one if I can! I guess if you have time to make jam you are all organised????
ReplyDeleteI have never tried to make jam in the bread maker. I did it once the old fashioned way and we bent our spoons trying to get the jam out of the jar!! I have never made it again.....someone told me I had cooked it too long....the jam that is! Maybe I should have taken those cooking lessons my Mum tried to teach me, but all I wanted to do was ride my horse!
ReplyDeleteCute new header, I love the old sewing machine.
P.S...have fun tomorrow you girls!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. sounds interesting but looks yummy. I never heard of it either. I love my bread machine. Haven't had it long but love homemade bread. Enjoy your day with the stitiching group. Sounds like fun.
