KHS Christmas dinner

Last night we had our KHS Christmas dinner at home.  It was a fun night with lots of laughs and so much food!!  We also exchanged some really cool pressies!  We drew names out of a hat as to who we where making for and decided that angel was the theme.

Favorite room

Well I finished the decorating of the house some time ago and have been busy in the garden but if you looked at the garden, you would truly wonder what I have been doing? (because of the weed loving weather!! looks like I have been doing nothing!)  And I have been busy making my pressie for tomorrow nights KHS dinner here at my place-(must think about what I am cooking for their dinner!!!!!)  Back to the Christmas decorating, for me my favorite room is our bedroom then followed closely by the spare room!  But here is my room...........................

I know this is photo heavy SORRY!!!!!  I have actually found it really hard decorating this year, mainly because the house is so big and I am used to a small house where all my decorations looked packed to the brim, and this year because the house is triple the size, I have had to plan more and spread everything out!!! (ooooh the head aches!!!)  But there is a solution I will just have to make, make, make more!!

Sunshine Frolics BOM finished!!

I am finally doing a happy dance!  Although I think my dance has been mistaken for a rain dance as it has been raining heavy all day!!  Not sure when I started this but after I had it  quilted, it  has been sitting in my craft room waiting for the binding so patiently and finally it is finished!! I have loved stitching the birdhouse quilt 'Sunshine Frolics'!!

 Above are a couple of my favorite blocks.  Also thought I would show you a couple of my roses - who, by the way are getting hammered with all this rain!

It is now only 14 days till Christmas!!!!!!  - scary- this month is flying by!!!!!  Are you prepared for Christmas???  - I AM NOT!!
